Renovations to 1970’s house

The kitchen needed more working space. Building an island would have created a huge visual mass in the middle of the kitchen. And would have obscured the glass paned pantry that we added.

This free-standing cutting board and prep table serves the space needs, is airy, and can be moved as needed.
